Mazda announced on September 25, 2023 that it will carry out a minor facelift project for the "Mazda2 Hybrid" sold in Europe.
The "Mazda2 Hybrid" sold by Mazda in Europe is not based on the Mazda small car "Mazda 2" but is an OEM model based on the Toyota "Yaris Hybrid". Mazda announced its introduction in December 2021.
The base model Toyota "Yaris" will undergo an improvement project on May 30, 2023, and the "Mazda2 Hybrid" facelift also has some of the same designs as this car.
In this minor facelift of the "Mazda2 Hybrid", in addition to changing the front bumper and radiator guard to original designs, the rear of the car is also equipped with a tailgate trim strip in the same color as the body, creating a different style from the base model "Yaris Hybrid" New appearance design.
The changes in the "Mazda2 Hybrid" facelift are the front bumper, radiator guard, and tailgate trim. In addition, they are similar to the base model "Yaris Hybrid".
