One of them is ventilation. A common way to ventilate a modified car camper is to install a ventilation fan with the windows open, but as a female car camper, I don’t really like to sleep with the windows open.

Because the windows of this car are not controlled by motors, but are designed to be opened with a single pull.

In addition, the rear seat window only needs to be opened a small crack to reach the door lock, so the window cannot be opened at night.

As a result, the only thing that could be opened was the front seat window.

Summer nights are currently too hot to sleep in and camp out in your car.

The author hopes to have a safe and comfortable ventilation method.

Enhance anti-theft
After that, the author also wants to strengthen the anti-theft aspect. This is something that women pay great attention to when traveling alone.
Of course, I locked my car when I went to bed, but that would mean nothing if the car was hacked.

The method I am using now is to set up warning lights and anti-theft bells.

In the future, I would like to add a car lock that can be locked from inside the car.

About a year and a half after I bought the Bongo Van, the AT gearbox broke down.

The repair cost of replacing the gearbox cost about 500,000 yen, which is equivalent to the price of purchasing two Bongo Vans.

Being cheap also comes with certain risks. Now think about it, if you want to drive a long distance, you should buy a used car in better condition.

Although the 500,000 yen spent on repairing the fault is enough to buy a new car. But the reason why the author chose to continue driving even though it was repaired is that it is a "unique car in the world".

The author can't give up the car he spent time building and traveled all over the country with. To the author, it has value that money cannot buy.
