●Get new spy shots of the new generation Prius
●Clear photos of the side & rear of the car
●The front design is also captured
● Japan will be launched as soon as December
The next-generation Prius under development by Toyota was photographed again in Aichi Prefecture.
The spy photos captured before were only the rear part of the car, but this time the rear, the side and the right half of the front of the car were successfully photographed.
The photo at the beginning of the article is designed for the rear and side of the car. The license plate is the same as the last sighting information. It is speculated that the car is also a US-spec car.
The steering wheel is set on the left side, and from this point it is again confirmed that it is an American car.
The Toyota factory logo has a bulge in the center of the rear of the car, and the taillights on both sides of the factory logo should be of the same design as the new-generation Crown.
The photo this time also confirms the speculation that the rear door handle was designed to be hidden and designed on the C-pillar.
This is a clear side view of the car.
Looking at the side profile of the car, you can see that the A-pillars are sloping, so the roof visually looks lower than the current model.
It was originally expected that the new Prius would adopt the same high-seat sedan design as the new Crown, but judging from the photos this time, it is just the opposite.
The front of the car only captures the right half. From this photo, you can see that the A-pillars are leaning more and the shape of the hood tends to be flat.
The headlight shape should be the same as the new generation Crown Sport. Presumably the tank guard is smaller and austere in design.
Although I am very curious about the appearance of the front front design, it is a pity that I did not take a complete front view this time.
In this photo, the camouflaged car is just side by side with Harrier. Although it is difficult to compare due to the shooting angle, from this photo, the height of the new-generation Prius is slightly higher than Harrier's waistline.
The Prius, born in 1997, is the world's first gasoline-electric hybrid production car. It has been 6 years since the fourth generation of the current model went on sale. The current car model has entered the final stage of the product, and everyone is guessing that there will be a major facelift in the near future.
And Toyota dealers are also rumoured that the new fifth-generation Prius will launch as soon as December 2022.
It is speculated that the plug-in hybrid model will be set after the launch of the gasoline-electric hybrid model.
