New generation Fairlady Z race car "Nissan Z GT4" released

On September 28, 2022, Nissan Motorsports & Customizing Co., Ltd. (NIMC), a new company established by Nissan NISMO and Autech, released the "Nissan Z GT4".

"Nissan Z GT4" is a concept car that participated in the ST-Q class in the second round of "NAPAC Fuji SUPER TEC 24 Hours" of "ENEOS Super Endurance Series 2022 Powered by Hankook" held in June 2022. "Nissan Z Racing Concept" as the basis, it is a Customer Motorsports vehicle that has been repeatedly improved and built.

Nissan said that the "Nissan Z GT4" has the performance to satisfy drivers of all levels, including professional drivers and gentlemen drivers.

The "Nissan Z GT4" was developed by the NMC NISMO Racing Division. It utilizes the new-generation Fairlady Z gene of the base car, and then achieves a high-level balance of driving performance, safety, durability, and operability.

The power system is equipped with a further adjusted VR30DDTT engine, and the chassis and suspension system are adjusted for competition.

Aerodynamic performance has also been maximized within the specified range, and the comfort and maneuverability of the driver's seat has also been optimized.

Details will be announced at "SEMA" held in November

Details of the "Nissan Z GT4" will be announced at the Las Vegas Auto Parts Show (SEMA) to be held from November 1st to November 4th, 2022 local time in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Vehicles are expected to be available from the 2023 season.
