The Aston Martin Vantage has been on the market since 2018. It is powered by a twin-turbo V8 from Mercedes-AMG with 510 hp and 685 Nm. At the Nürburgring, however, our spy photographer has spotted a new variant: a Vantage with a much wider body, extra air intakes in the front bumper and on the hood, and a central exhaust.
It is an Aston Martin Vantage with V12. We don't know the specifications yet, of course, but we assume that the 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 of the Aston Martin DB11 / DBS Superleggera is located in the front. In the Aston Martin V12 Speedster - which is based on the Vantage under the skin - this power source delivers 700 hp and 753 Nm.
It is not the first time that Aston Martin has put its largest engine in its smallest model. The 2005 Aston Martin Vantage also came on the market as a V12 Vantage two years later. He used the 517 hp 5.9-liter naturally aspirated V12 from the DBS. The later Aston Martin V12 Vantage S even had 573 hp.
