Facing the current wave of electrification in the automotive industry, most car manufacturers are actively investing in the development of corresponding new vehicles, but there are also a few brands that want to leave an unforgettable masterpiece, such as racing history, before the end of this internal combustion engine generation. Alfa Romeo, which has a long history, chose to use the 33 Stradale, a street version derived from the Tipo 33 racing car, as the basis. It reinterpreted it with modern design techniques and new-generation car-making technology. This new model not only impressed everyone when it debuted, but was produced in a limited edition of 33 units. Its rare status attracted top buyers from all over the world, and it was sold out within a few weeks.
Taking the opportunity to build the new 33 Stradale, Alfa Romeo has also restarted the Fuoriserie customized model after more than 50 years. The new car fully retains the original round and full lines in appearance, and the unique lift-up door is not absent. Incorporating modern technology-style LED headlights and taillights, as well as a 3D-printed three-dimensional water tank guard in the shape of the factory emblem, it not only faithfully inherits the silhouette and charm of the classic sports car, but also allows you to see its own brand-new style at a glance.
The interior layout echoes the minimalist style of its racing pedigree. The pure driving-oriented design that does not even have a central control screen or steering wheel shortcut keys is unique. The large number of lever designs on the roof and central saddle give people a sense of humor. It has the feeling of an airplane cockpit, coupled with the ingenious combination of large areas of leather and aluminum metal materials, showing the unmistakable unique design techniques and romantic temperament of the top Italian cars. In addition, the new car also offers two interior styles: Tributo and Alfa Corse. The former pursues a classic retro style, while the latter features carbon fiber and other track elements, which can be freely matched according to the owner's preferences.
Perhaps to highlight the transition period between internal combustion engines and pure electrics, the new 33 Stradale offers two power options: a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine and pure electric power. Judging from the mechanical specifications, the former should be the Nettuno Neptune developed by group brother Maserati. The engine, with a maximum horsepower of more than 620hp, is paired with an eight-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission and a rear-wheel drive configuration. It can bring powerful performance from 0 to 100km/h in less than 3 seconds and a top speed of 333km/h. In addition, it is less than With a vehicle weight of 1.5 tons and configurations such as front and rear double A-arm suspension and CCM carbon fiber ceramic brake calipers, the control limit is believed to be no problem.
Although some manufacturers of pure electric models have not clearly announced it, they are believed to come from the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, with a total of three motors, one in the front and two in the rear. The maximum output of more than 750hp can also accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in 3 seconds, although the top speed is slightly lower. But it also has a performance of more than 310km/h, and its WLTP cruising range is also at the level of 450 kilometers.
