●Introduced Hatchback five-door hatchback model

Equipped with 2.0-liter direct injection engine + front axle dual electric motors

●The estimated selling price is between 1.5 million and 1.6 million

●Domestic listing time at the end of the first quarter of 2023

After the 9th and 10th generation Civic continued to disappear in the Taiwan market, the launch of the new 11th generation model still gave hope to many "Ximei fans" in China, so they still vigorously beat the bowl and hoped to introduce a domestic relative Fangze. But in the past 1 or 2 years, they still "only heard the sound of the stairs, but no one came down."

However, in order to achieve Global Honda's 2050 carbon neutral vision and Taiwan's CAFE fuel consumption standards, Taiwan Honda issued a press release on November 1 to officially announce that the 11th generation Civic will be imported and sold in 2023, and the locked model is The e:HEV gasoline-electric model with Hatchback five-door hatchback design. As soon as this news comes out, I believe it will make many "Ximei fans" in China feel excited and look forward to it, especially the model introduced this time is equipped with the latest generation of Honda's e:HEV gasoline-electric technology, which not only has excellent power performance output, but also fuel consumption. The performance is even better. Coupled with Honda's usual good handling performance, it is expected that there will be quite good product strength and attractiveness, especially if it can offer a reasonable price even for the people, I believe that there will be a product after it is put into the market. Fan as. As for the introduction time of the new car, according to the latest information obtained, it is expected to be launched around the end of the first quarter of next year.

Taiwan's Honda announced that it will import the new 11th-generation Civic Hatchback e:HEV model next year, and it is predicted that the fastest introduction time will be around the end of the first quarter.

Digital instrumentation and central control screen are standard

The data from the original foreign factory shows that the Civic Hatchback five-door hatchback model sold in China will be imported. The length, width and height of the body are 4674/1802/1415mm, and the wheelbase is 2735mm, which is longer than the previous generation model. And the wheelbase (front 1535mm/rear 1565mm) is set, so its cabin space is bound to improve. In addition, in addition to having a lower center of gravity (135mm above the ground), it also adopts a new-generation high-rigidity body design. Therefore, it is advertised that the new car can bring the driving experience of "human and vehicle integration". We have high hopes and expectations.

The Civic Hatchback five-door hatchback model has a body length, width and height of 4674/1802/1415mm and a wheelbase of 2735mm. Compared with the previous model, it has a longer wheelbase and wheelbase.

The interior layout design is similar to the gasoline-style Civic Hatchback model, which still has a very eye-catching metal mesh air conditioning vent cover, and the equipment has a 10.2-inch digital instrument, a 9-inch central control touch screen, and wire transmission. Push-button shifting system, Drive Mode multi-driving mode, electrically adjustable heated seats, wireless charging for mobile phones, Bose audio and Honda Sensing active safety technology, etc., but whether the imported models will be fully charged in the future will have to wait for Honda Taiwan in the future. It will be known only after further announcement of the configuration.

The interior layout design with strong family flavor takes a simple and refreshing route, and at the same time, it creates a stable and wide visual experience through the horizontal planning method.
The 10.2-inch digital instrument can provide richer driving information and display the operation pattern of the hybrid power system.
The 9-inch touch-sensitive multimedia integrated information screen host supports Apple CarPlay & Android Auto mobile phone connection.
It adopts the design of transmission-by-wire push-button shifting system, and has four Drive Mode driving modes such as Eco/Normal/Sport/Individual.

2.0-liter direct injection engine + dual electric motors

In terms of power configuration, the 11th-generation Civic e:HEV is different from the Fit e:HEV equipped with a 1.5-liter engine, but instead uses a 2.0-liter direct-injection four-cylinder Atkinson cycle gasoline engine, coupled with dual electric motors on the front axle and under the rear seat. The Hybrid oil-electric system composed of lithium battery packs not only has 41% thermal efficiency and low emission performance, but also has a maximum combined horsepower and torque output of 182hp and 32.2kgm. Automatic switching between modes is used, so the average fuel consumption under the WLTC standard can reach 24.2km/L. In addition, four driving modes including Eco/Normal/Sport/Individual are also provided to correspond to the driver's driving needs.

Equipped with a 2.0-liter Atkinson direct-injection four-cylinder gasoline engine setting, and equipped with two sets of electric motors and lithium battery modules, the thermal efficiency is as high as 41%, and the combined maximum horsepower and torque output are 182hp and 32.2kgm.

The price may come to 1.4-1.5 million yuan

As for the 11th-generation Civic Hatchback e:HEV, how much will it sell in China? I believe this will be the biggest key factor in whether this car can be favored by consumers. Judging from its status as an imported car, the price will definitely not be too low, and there is absolutely no suspense over one million; in addition, from its price in Japan (3.94 million yen, about 860,000 Taiwan dollars), plus To calculate the tax that must be levied after coming to Taiwan, it should be within a reasonable range to sell 1.3 million yuan, but if you add the profit that Taiwan Honda wants to make, the price of the car may reach 140~ It is not impossible between 1.5 million yuan, but all this will have to wait until the pre-sale price of Taiwan Honda is released in the first quarter of next year.

The price of the 11th-generation Civic Hatchback e:HEV after the introduction is not cheap, and it may reach between 1.4 million and 1.5 million yuan.
