To paraphrase the famous scene from Goldfinger: "Do you expect me to talk? No, mister Bond, I expect you to buy!" Because Land Rover has not announced a price for the Defender V8 Bond Edition, but believe us ... it will probably cost more than the 200,000 euros that a normal V8 should yield. Land Rover is building 300 copies of the Bond Edition, as a short Defender 90 and as a long Defender 110.
Every Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition features the Extended Black Pack, 22-inch Luna Gloss Black alloy, Xenon Blue colored brake calipers and a Defender 007 badge on the rear. In the interior you will find a special animation in the Pivi Pro infotainment system, Defender 007 door sill guards and 007 entry lighting. All Bond Editions will have a special One of 300 logo.
The Bond Edition is based on the Land Rover Defender V8, featuring a 5.0-litre supercharged eight-cylinder engine with 525 hp and 625 Nm of torque. The short Defender V8 90 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240 km/h. In No Time To Die, the Land Rover Defender is joined by two Range Rover Sport SVRs, a Range Rover Classic and a Land Rover Series III. The James Bond film - the last one for actor Daniel Craig - hits theaters September 30.
