Just as we are about to quietly enter December, Hyundai Motors has released the information of the new Tucson facelift without warning. At first glance, it seems that there are not many changes, but after a closer look, we find that there is something wrong. The current fourth-generation Tucson was launched in 2020. Car fans around the world have only waited more than three years for the facelifted model. In appearance, the Tucson uses the existing design to make the entire front of the car look sharper.

First of all, the headlight group continues the flying wing shape before the facelift (the original manufacturer calls it DRL parameter gem), but the designer has reduced the outermost light group, and changed the four daytime running lights near the inner side to three, and spaced the Enlarge it, and at the same time switch the original flat 2D design to a three-dimensional 3D outline. In addition, the front bumper part has been changed from an arc to a more masculine acute-angled fold line. The radiator guard is modeled after the famous pickup truck Santa Cruz. The inner grilles of different thicknesses, combined with the above-mentioned changes, make the front of the Tucson look more three-dimensional and more rugged and sporty.

The facelifted Tucson has been replaced with a new headlight set and water tank guard, adding a rugged and sporty element while continuing the existing design.

As for the rear and side parts of the car, the facelifted Tucson has not been significantly changed. Only some details have been adjusted, such as slightly enlarged wheel arches made of scratch-resistant material and a new aluminum rim design. to embellish this car.

The sides and rear of the car only received minor cosmetic work, mainly due to the replacement of new-style aluminum rims.

A major focus of the new Tucson is the upgrade of the interior of the car. The most conspicuous change is the replacement of the three-spoke multi-function steering wheel that debuted for the brand. The simplified design not only adds elegance. , the shape is also more beautiful. After the facelift, the Tucson's cabin introduces the same integrated virtual cockpit as the electric car Ioniq 5, which consists of two connected 12.3-inch screens. The original bay-style instrument panel was changed to a horizontal design, and a small storage space was added above the passenger air outlet to ensure better practicality. In addition, Tucson has also canceled the previous push-button gear shifting structure this time, and instead moved the gear lever above the steering column, completely freeing up the space in the center saddle. Therefore, a semi-hollow island can be created, in addition to the original cup holder and wireless charging In addition to the location of the board, there is a large storage area below, which is more suitable for family use.

The interior has been modified to adopt a cabin layout similar to that of the Ioniq 5, with the new steering wheel and dual 12.3-inch screens being the biggest highlights.

Along with the upgrade of the cockpit, there is also a new central control system. The interface adopts a lower saturation color system for a better visual experience, and the various options have become more detailed and diverse. However, the original manufacturer did not pay attention to the central control system this time. Perhaps we can only know the pros and cons after seeing the actual car in the future.
