Hotai Motors TOYOTA has long been committed to achieving carbon neutrality. It not only continues to launch new energy vehicles, but also reduces carbon dioxide in the air and protects Taiwan's environment through tree planting. On the 19th, a commemorative event was held to commemorate the achievement of planting 750,000 trees per car and one tree. Gold medal Olympic athlete Guo Meuchun and sunshine artist Wang Pinhao were invited to serve as event ambassadors. A total of 300 car owners and the public were invited to participate in the event and 3,000 trees were planted around Shimen Reservoir in Taoyuan. Gardenia saplings gather the power of everyone to practice environmental sustainability and contribute to carbon reduction.

Facing the impact of global warming, Hotai Motors not only cares about Taiwan's environmental issues, but also hopes to fulfill its corporate responsibilities. Since April 2017, it has joined hands with the Forestry and Nature Conservation Service of the Ministry of Agriculture (formerly the Forestry Bureau of the Executive Yuan) and Cixin Organic The Agricultural Development Foundation started a tree planting carbon reduction plan and successfully extended its afforestation experience to the coasts of Taiwan, Penghu, Jinma and Ma. After planting, it carried out a three-year tree protection plan, successfully increasing the survival rate of seedlings to over 90%. Not only does it improve the ecological environment, it also builds a Great Green Wall in 17 counties and cities in Taiwan.
Since the launch of the "TOYOTA One Car One Tree Planting Program", for every new TOYOTA car sold, Hotai Motors has planted a tree in Taiwan for the car owner. The project has lasted for more than six years. As of the end of September this year, 750,000 trees have been planted, and the number is still increasing. The afforestation effect has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 25,000 metric tons, equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of 64 Daan Forest Parks. Hotai Motors not only makes bold innovations in afforestation and carbon reduction, but also expands its influence on Taiwan's environmental protection by organizing a variety of activities to attract new ideas.
Owners who purchase a TOYOTA car can log in to the One Car One Tree official website - Car Owners Area (https://tree.toyota.com.tw/) 10 days after delivery to check tree planting information, including planting time, area, tree species and saplings Photos etc. Not only that, you can also name your sapling, make a wish, and establish a deeper connection with the adopted sapling. At the same time, by sharing the link, more friends can participate in this meaningful green action.
