June 2, 2022 – The one-of-a-kind F-PACE SVR Edition 1988 is Jaguar’s first limited-edition top-of-the-line high-performance SUV, built by SV Bespoke’s customization specialists, with a production run of only 394 units worldwide.
Inspired by Jaguar's long-standing racing heritage, the design includes a specially formulated Midnight Amethyst paint, 22-inch forged alloy wheels in Champagne Gold Satin, a Sunset Gold Satin exterior and a sophisticated interior, including a "One of 394” SV Bespoke identification plate.
Named after 1988, and the total number of vehicles commissioned by Jaguar SVO's Special Vehicles division, both ingenious tributes to the XJR-9 LM that won the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Midnight Amethyst Gloss Paint is a new colour exclusive to Jaguar F-PACE SVR Edition 1988 customers.
Richard Woolley, Creative Director of Jaguar, SVO Special Vehicles, said: "The design of the F-PACE SVR Edition 1988 is inspired by the legendary Jaguar Endurance race car. The Midnight Amethyst Gloss paint is generally black, but in bright sunlight it shows its The amethyst base color accentuates the dynamic look of the SVR. To achieve this attractive ultra-metallic finish, the design team evaluated more than 40 variations to create the desired color gradation.”
Unique to the Jaguar F-PACE SVR Edition 1988 is the Jaguar Leopard emblem in sunset gold satin on the rear windshield. In addition, there is a laser-etched Edition 1988 plaque on each of the front fenders.
In addition to the F-PACE SVR Black Exterior Package that was standard on the Edition 1988, gloss black details include mirror caps, calipers, rim caps and the letter R in the SVR emblem on the steering wheel.
To further enhance the sophistication and luxury of the Jaguar F-PACE SVR, the interior is adorned with carbon fiber trim, the Jaguar F-PACE SVR Edition 1988 features a semi-aniline ebony dark leather interior and exclusive Sunset Gold accents on the instrument panel, steering wheel spokes, Shift paddles and dual front sports performance seats with hot and cold ventilation.
The Jaguar Leopard emblem on the steering wheel and the centrally mounted metal horn ring are finished in satin black, while the illuminated door sills and detailed SV Bespoke on the instrument panel perfectly echo the Edition 1988 brand emblem.

The successful combination of texture and performance, while commemorating the success of past events, also makes the Jaguar F-PACE SVR even more appealing.”
The F-PACE SVR is Jaguar's flagship performance SUV. Equipped with the exclusive Jaguar 550 PS 5.0-liter V8 supercharged gasoline engine, the 0-100 km/h acceleration takes only 4 seconds and the top speed can reach 286 km/h.
