2022 year 8 moon 11 day, england – Land Rover Classic Cars introduces 25 adventurous Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy IIs and a series of experiences to honor its global heritage of off-roading and exploration.
For the past seven decades, Land Rover has continued to explore previously unreachable areas. Each Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II features a unique camouflage body that represents the legendary 4×4 that has conquered over 70 years in 23 adventurous locations ranging from the Camel Trophy Classic Off-Road to the first overland G4 challenge and more . The design also hides many of the Land Rover models and their signature contoured shapes for owners to identify.
In addition to the opportunity to purchase unique collector cars, customers will also be invited to participate in the second, three-day exclusive Land Rover Grand Prix. The Land Rover Grand Prix allows a group of like-minded car owners to form lasting friendships and memories, and create their own moments in unforgettable events. Under the guidance of experts, owners will take part in a series of off-road points challenges inspired by famous global adventures. After three days of competition, the winning team will receive the grand prize. Owners will create lasting memories and familiarize themselves with their vehicles in the most exciting way possible.
The Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II's unique camouflage exterior accentuates Land Rover's all-terrain heritage, developed exclusively by the dedicated team in Land Rover's Classic Division, built using 2012-2016 Defender models and hand-assembled to exacting standard and make high specification improvements.

The limited edition Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II is powered by a Land Rover 5.0-liter V8 petrol powertrain that produces a maximum power output of 405 PS and 515 Nm of torque, mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. Each model has been completely overhauled with upgraded suspension, brakes and steering enhancements. For the first time in the Trophy lineup, the 90 and 110 station wagons and the 110 four-door pickup will be offered. Of the 25-unit quota, the Land Rover Classics division will produce only five four-door pickup models, with the remaining 20 cars split equally between 90 and 110 Touring models.
The exterior features a unique black and white theme with unique camouflage developed by the Land Rover Special Vehicle Design team. The color is based on Fuji White, with a contrasting Narvik Black roof and gloss black exterior elements, including subtle details such as rivets, screws and air vents. Gloss black 18-inch serrated alloy wheels complement the vehicle's exterior design.
Featuring 23 locations on the body camouflage, Land Rover has conquered challenging terrain in over 70 years of off-road exploration. These include historic off-road challenges and more recently Land Rover expeditions in South Africa and Laos to Peru.
A series of cosmetic equipment improvements ensure unstoppable all-terrain performance. At the front, a bespoke front grille on the A-shaped bumper houses a winch. The hood features a matte black finish to reduce glare in bright environments, while a powerful body-wide 1.27m LED light bar provides optimum visibility over rough roads at night.
The Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II features a 500mm wading depth, rear tow hitch, side bars and a body roll cage for added body protection. A rear escalator provides access to the expedition rack on the roof, while clever details include Land Rover Trophy badges and white logo detailing on the fenders.
Recaro sports seats are made of premium black and white two-tone Windsor leather with contrast stitching for a supportive and comfortable ride. Contrasting leather stitching extends to the dashboard, doors and headliner, handcrafted throughout production.
The Land Rover Classic's modern infotainment system integrates navigation and mobile device connectivity, allowing the latest multimedia features to be displayed in the original center console. Land Rover's ergonomically sporty gear lever on the ZF automatic transmission also contributes to the control feel.
Above the central instrument panel is a bespoke Land Rover Trophy dial by Elliot Brown, whose distinctive dial echoes the body camouflage design. Elliot Brown once again provides Trophy owners with an exclusive, reliable racing version. Meanwhile, for those not lucky enough to get a limited-edition vehicle, Elliot Brown is releasing 1,000 watches inspired by the Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II.
