McLaren celebrates ten years of success The Grand Celebration

McLaren chief sales and marketing director George Biggs came to Taiwan specially to attend the meeting and presented a helmet signed by McLaren's F1 driver Lando Norris to Taiwanese brand general manager Lin Genghong.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the McLaren brand and the glorious milestone of Taiwan's general agent Yongsan Automobile's 10th anniversary in Taiwan, and to celebrate McLaren Taiwan's winning of the 2022 World's Best Dealership award, the industry chose to hold a grand celebration in Taipei for the first time on November 15th. A total of 60 McLaren models of various types were gathered in one go, spanning the brand's complete car series, including Ultimate Series, Supercars and Grand Tourer, to pay tribute to the brand's 60th anniversary milestone and McLaren Taiwan's 10th anniversary in Taiwan.

The original manufacturer specially transported the 2023 McLaren F1 racing MCL60 display car to Taiwan, where it was unveiled together with Taiwan's first 750S Spider.

The models displayed at The Grand Celebration are themed around Ultimate, MSO, Longtail and production models; the Ultimate area includes the brand’s top limited edition models, including the world-limited classic P1 in the racing world, Senna, which inherits the name of the legendary champion driver, Elva, which inherits the glorious history, and Speedtail, the ultimate sports car with leading design and technological concepts; the MSO exhibition area highlights the brand's highly customized car manufacturing process, from the body appearance to the interior details, including classic racing theme painting, and a high degree of customization Customized different materials and gradient paint and other personalized styles; the Longtail area is for the special high-performance competitive models in the family, with members lined up by 675LT, 600LT and 765LT; the classic mass-produced models are McLaren's most iconic supercars since The popular works range from the first mass-produced supercar, the 12C, to the latest and first gasoline-electric hybrid model, Artura, which represent the brand spirit of constantly surpassing itself as the generations evolve.

In addition, the industry has also carefully created a brand history tunnel to showcase the 60-year history of the racing brand since Bruce McLaren founded it in 1963. It continues Bruce McLaren's core philosophy, inherits fine traditions and continues to break through boundaries, extending the brand's profound racing genes to The field of supercars; the other end of the tunnel integrates McLaren Taiwan's major milestones in the past ten years, since the brand launched operations in Taiwan in 2013, the completion of Taipei and Kaohsiung exhibition centers, exclusive driving tours for car owners, track day experiences and new car launches, etc. , symbolizing the common growth of Taiwan's market and brands, looking back on the good times of the past ten years and looking forward to the future.
