Kicks implements minor facelift

On July 19, 2022, Nissan announced that the Kicks will undergo a minor facelift, and it will be launched simultaneously in Japan from now on.

The content of this minor facelift is the adoption of the second-generation e-POWER and the addition of a new 4WD model.

Equipped with the second generation e-POWER to improve output power and quietness

Kicks has been upgraded to the second-generation e-POWER in this minor facelift. The motor output is increased by about 5%, the maximum torque is increased by about 7%, the number of engine starts at low speed is reduced, and the quietness is improved.

The e-Pedal Step, which can control acceleration and deceleration by operating the accelerator, is optimized to make it smoother. In addition, it can also be switched to B gear in SPORT and ECO modes after the facelift.

Fuel consumption is 23.0km/L (WLTC mode). Compared with the past, the value has increased by about 6.4%.

Added the long-awaited e-POWER 4WD

There was only a 2WD model when it was first launched, and this small facelift has a new 4WD model. Introduced a grade model with electric and 4-wheel drive system "e-POWER 4WD" in the product lineup.

The 50kW, 100N・m motor is combined with rear-wheel drive to give full play to the characteristics of high-speed and precise driving force control of the motor. The fuel consumption of the e-POWER 4WD model is 19.2km/L in WLTC mode.

Enrich all levels of safety equipment

This small facelift also adds advanced safety technology and equipment. High-end models come standard with "Smart Panoramic Surveillance System", "Smart Rearview Mirror" and other systems, and all-grade models are equipped with "Front Collision Warning System" as standard.

The front collision warning system uses the millimeter-wave radar mounted in front of the vehicle to detect the distance and relative speed between vehicles driving in front of two vehicles. If a danger is detected, it will warn with lights and bells to assist in avoiding dangerous situations such as collisions.

Improve interior texture

In terms of interior decoration, the design of the center console and gear lever is updated to improve the texture.

The "Two-Tone Interior Edition", which has both 2WD and 4WD settings, has a beige color in addition to orange. A new level "Style edition" is also set.

The Style edition features a calm interior with a dark brown tone, and exterior accessories such as the water tank guard are designed in glossy black, giving people a chic feel.

Price starts from 2,798,400 yen

The 2WD and 4WD models of the facelifted Kicks are available in base grade, "Two-Tone Interior Edition", and "Style edition", with prices ranging from 2,798,400 to 3,281,300 yen.

AUTECH also implements minor facelifts

In conjunction with the Kicks minor facelift, Kicks AUTECH has also followed up with the implementation of minor facelifts. The content of the facelift is based on the base car, and some changes are implemented on the interior and exterior.

The exterior features newly designed LED through-type taillights and a one-piece tailgate trim; the interior features a center console embellished with blue stitching.

The 2WD model is priced at 3,185,600 yen, and the 4WD model is 3,448,500 yen.
