Old School Engineering, a small Welsh company, is usually involved in refurbishing old rally legends and classics. Although the name suggests otherwise, Old School Engineering also occasionally bends over modern stuff. This special Honda e is a good example of this.
Old School Engineering has thoroughly overhauled the electric city car. The Honda is fitted with flared wheel arches, thick bumpers and a striking spoiler. All these additions are made of carbon fiber. A set of wider tires and new rims complete the picture.
The most striking is of course the thousands of recognizable Red Bull stickers. Old School Engineering calls it a tribute to "one of the best and most hard-fought F1 championships ever".
Old School Engineering doesn't say a word about under-hood adjustments. Just like the standard Honda e, this Red Bull racer is also equipped with a 154 hp electric motor. Unfortunately, the British also do not talk about interior adjustments. We are fans of the special dashboard of the Honda e. But how cool would those five screens look in combination with bucket seats and a high-tech F1 steering wheel?
Old School Engineering says it will only convert one Honda e into a Red Bull racer. Most likely this one has already been sold for a lot of money. But who knows, Honda will get it on its hips and the Japanese will also give their electric car a Red Bull-treatment. There is a good chance that the buyers will then sprint to the Honda dealer in Verstappen speed.
