Peugeot E-3008 (2024) reaches 700 kilometers thanks to this EV scoop -

The Peugeot E-3008 is the first Stellantis model to be on the new STLA Medium platform. The range is therefore not an issue; Peugeot specifies a driving range of up to 700 kilometers for its electric SUV.

The new Peugeot E-3008 is 4.54 meters long, 1.89 meters wide and 1.64 high. This makes it 10 centimeters longer, five centimeters wider and two centimeters higher than the current 3008. The wheelbase is 2.73 meters. That is also larger, about six centimeters.

The luggage compartment of 520 liters is identical to that of the 3008. There are also 17 different storage spaces with a total capacity of 34 liters. A common ground with the 408 are the aerodynamic alloy wheels (19- or 20-inch) with a rather special design.

Speaking of design: Peugeot itself is not talking about an SUV, but about a fastback SUV. A bit like the Peugeot 408, but a bit thicker. In the context of body positivity We won't say anything further about this...

3 electric powertrains for Peugeot E-3008

There is a choice of three electric powertrains: single motor (210 hp), dual motor (320 hp) and long range (230 hp). The dual motor has an extra electric motor at the rear and therefore has 4x4 drive. The first two versions can travel 525 kilometers on a single battery charge, the long range reaches 700 kilometers (WLTP).

The top version has a 98 kWh lithium-ion battery, while the other versions have to make do with 73 kWh. A heat pump is optionally available, as is a 3-phase on-board charger with 22 kW. A copy with 11 kW is standard.

The Peugeot E-3008 charges quickly with a maximum of 160 kW. This charges the battery to 80 percent in half an hour. For example, you can charge an electric bicycle with the vehicle to load function.

Peugeot E-3008: delivery time and price

Although not everyone is a fan, Peugeot is sticking to its i-cockpit. The new E-3008 also has a small steering wheel. The central part of this has even become smaller and gives a 'floating' effect.

The rectangular screen on top of the dashboard does the same; this appears disconnected from the top of the dashboard, something that is enhanced by lighting effects. It looks very nice, but we doubt whether such a screen is pleasant right in front of your nose. In any case, it makes a head-up display redundant.

The new Peugeot E-3008 will be launched on the market in February 2024. We are still waiting for the recommended retail prices, but you can bet that it is not eligible for an EV subsidy. The E-3008 will undoubtedly be more expensive than the E-308 (from 45,585 euros).
