Price BMW i4 - For 3000 euros less you also have a Tesla Model 3 Long Range

Anyway, what is 3000 euros on a car of 60 grand? Especially since almost all Model 3's and i4's will be driven for business. For 60,697 euros you get in any case a BMW i4 eDrive40 with 340 hp and 430 Nm, a 0-100 km/h time of 5.7 seconds and a range of up to 590 kilometers. Its 80.7 kWh battery can be fully charged with 200 kW on a quick charger. And that translates to approximately 164 kilometers of range per 10 minutes of charging. In comparison: the Tesla Model 3 Long Range has more than 400 horsepower, goes to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and only stops after 614 kilometers. So three points for the Tesla (which he will probably lose again on build quality).

Electric BMW i4 M50 with top speed of 225 km/h

Then there is the BMW i4 M50, for which you have to pay at least 73,496 euros. It lands at the top of the i4 delivery program with two electric motors and an output of 544 hp, 795 Nm of torque and a sickening sprint time of 3.9 seconds to 100 km/h. Its top speed is limited to 225 km/h (the i4 eDrive40 is only allowed 190 km/h) and from its also 80.7 kWh large battery pack it presses 80 kilometers less (510 kilometers). The BMW i4 M50 is the equivalent of the $63,980 Tesla Model 3 Performance, which produces 513 hp, 660 Nm, a 0-100 time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 261 km/h. The BMW comes standard with an adaptive M chassis, improved brakes, an extra strut bridge at the front and 18-inch M wheels (20-inch is also possible).

The BMW i4 is almost 10 centimeters longer than the Tesla Model 3, with a 1 centimeter shorter wheelbase. If you equip the newcomer with a towbar, you can tow a trailer of up to 1600 kilos. If the luggage space alone is sufficient for your weekend getaway needs, know that you can take between 470 and 1290 liters of suitcases, bags and boxes. It is also striking that the dashboard of the i4 does not match that of the BMW 4-series. The bottom has elements of it, but the top is completely different, with a huge horizontal screen that runs across the wide: the BMW Curved Display. The list of (expensive) options, infotainment and safety systems is of course long. So just keep that starting price at 60,000 euros...
