●Catch the Fairlady Z test car
●New bumper and rear spoiler design?
●Rim and brake calipers are the same as GT-R?
On the Fairlady Z Forum website, someone uploaded a photo of a camouflaged car suspected to be a new generation of Fairlady Z.
The new generation of Fairlady Z will release the prototype car on September 16, 2020, the North American market model will be released on August 18, 2021 at an event in New York, USA, and the Japanese market model will be released on January 14, 2022. It is speculated that it is a new generation of Fairlady Z that will be launched later. It is rumored that the camouflaged car may be the Fairlady Z NISMO.
The most obvious difference between the camouflaged car and the new-generation Fairlady Z that has been released is the rear bumper design. The spoiler shape is added on the side, which seems to upgrade the aerodynamic performance.
The rear spoiler design has also changed from a ducktail shape with the same width as the tailgate to an arc shape extending to the left and right ends of the car body.
The design of the side skirts has also been slightly changed. Although the undulation of the car body is not obvious due to the camouflage model, it can still be distinguished that the camouflage car adopts a flat design.
From the front side, it can be clearly seen that the camouflaged car is a 9-spoke wheel, and the side of the front bumper also has the same spoiler shape as the rear bumper.
Someone pointed out on the forum website that the rims of the camouflaged car are very similar to the exclusive RAYS forged aluminum rims used by GT-R on "NISMO" and "T-Spec". Although the spoke design is slightly different from the GT-R, they are all 9-spoke wheels.
There's also been a lot of talk about the possibility of the camouflage using the Brembo 6-piston calipers found on the GT-R.
