Lotus is still bringing the brand's last fuel-powered sports car, the Emira, to players who love driving around the world in July 2021. Although the plan to introduce it in mid-2022 was postponed to the end of 2023 due to the impact of the epidemic, it has been able to launch it. It made its debut at the 2024 Taipei Auto Show, officially meeting the long-awaited domestic car fans. Before the show, the industry also announced that the first batch of introduced models are all V6 First Edition models, with prices starting from 5.38 million yuan.

New generation avant-garde and dynamic

The new Emira has a body size of 4413x1895x1226mm and a wheelbase of 2575mm. It maintains the low, wide and flat silhouette of a two-door sports car. At the same time, the exterior design style continues from the pure electric supercar Evija. It adopts avant-garde and neat lines, while also being exquisite. Paired with the three bright car colors of Hethel Yellow, Seneca Blue and Shadow Gray selected for this show car, it looks even more fashionable and charming. When paired with a six-speed manual transmission, it can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds. , with a top speed of 290km/h; subsequent four-cylinder models that are expected to be introduced after the original factory goes online will use a 2.0L straight four-turbo unit from Mercedes-AMG, with a maximum output of 360hp/43.8kgm through an eight-speed Powered by a DCT dual-clutch manual transmission, it can accelerate from zero to 0 to 0.4 seconds in 4.4 seconds, which is almost the same as the V6 model. The top speed is also expected to be 290km/h, but the introduction timetable and price are still to be confirmed and announced by the industry.
