Not that you are lacking in power, by the way. In the previous Mercedes-AMG C 43, the twin-turbo V6 had an output of 390 hp and 520 Nm of torque. Now the double blown four-cylinder of the new one comes to 408 hp and 500 Nm. At the sprint to 100 km/h it makes no difference. The C 43 goes from 4.7 seconds before to 4.6 seconds now. Its top speed has traditionally been set at 250 km/h. But if you leave some extra coins at the AMG dealer, the limiter suddenly allows you to go 15 km/h faster.
Can you still recognize the Mercedes-AMG C 43 by something? Yes, it has four beautiful round exhaust pipes at the back (which we secretly find much nicer than the square ones of the C 63), large alloy wheels and sportier-looking bumper work all around. Standard is a nine-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch, a sports exhaust, an adaptive suspension and rear-wheel steering.
