In the roofline and rear panel we can clearly see the lines of the Polestar Precept study, with the sharp crease on the 'shoulders' and the line that continues from the windows into the c-pillar. We also suffer from a déjà vu when we see this photo. Squeeze a little with your eyes and you will see a combination of Tesla Model 3 and Model S.
The photo was taken at Polestar's UK research center, where hard work is now underway to prepare the Precept for production. It is not yet known when the coupe-like sedan (or hatchback) will be on the market. Polestar itself says it is "before 2025".
Furthermore, little is known about the Polestar Precept. We know that it will be built completely climate neutral and has a longer wheelbase than the Porsche Taycan, but nothing else. Before we get to see it in production form, Polestar introduces another new model. The Polestar 3 is an electric SUV, which will be placed above the Polestar 2.
