Toyota finds surprising partner in development of cheap electric SUV - AutoReview.nl

According to Japanese Best Car Suzuki is working on the compact EV. That is quite surprising, since Suzuki is not exactly known as an EV brand. Suzuki does not even have a single electric passenger car in its model range. Yet Suzuki's knowledge can be of value to Toyota. Suzuki does have enough expertise in the field of developing compact cars.

bZ Small Crossover

A concept car of a compact SUV in Toyota's bZ series was already shown in 2021. At the time, Toyota gave a glimpse into the future with 16 electric models, including the 'bZ Small Crossover'. The new compact SUV from the bZ family is said to use the e-TNGA platform, which also includes the Toyota bZ4X is on.
