The American manufacturer Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) goes to Le Mans. From the 2020/2021 season, the company of car collector James Glickenhaus will participate in the World Endurance Championship with this Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus 007 LMP1.
The organization of the Le Mans 24 hours has adjusted the rules for next year. This means that the top class for LMP1 prototypes disappears and makes way for a hypercar class. The LMP1 class has been thinned up considerably in the last few years. Audi and Porsche gave up and only Toyota remained. The latter manufacturer has already announced that it will participate in the Le Mans 24 Hours next year, with a racing version of the GR Super Sport Concept. Aston Martin is participating in the Valkyrie AMR.
And so comes Scuderia Cameron Glick enhaus. The small supercar builder says he will be present with a factory team next year, but will also support a few private teams. The SCG 007 LMP1 - as shown in the accompanying photos - is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with around 750 hp. According to Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, the car is currently under construction and will be ready for testing in July next year. So we will not see him in 2020 at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus was founded by James Glickenhaus. In 2006, the American millionaire had his Ferrari Enzo converted by Pininfarina into the P4 / 5 by Pininfarina, which in terms of styling refers to the Ferrari racing cars from the 1960s. Glickenhaus later had a circuit version built, the P4 / 5 Competizione. This is where Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus originated. The company developed the 003 (a 700 hp McLaren Senna-type super sports car), 004 (a 850 hp hypercar), 006 (a retrocoupé and spyder) and the Boot (an extreme offroader).
